What can I expect at a Turkish wedding?
Answer
It will be very similar to the weddings you're used to -- except in Turkish! Our ceremony and reception will take place at the same location, and a full dinner will be served following the brief marriage ceremony.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire. While Istanbul is a major city with lots of different cultural and fashion influences, you may consider dressing slightly more modestly than you would in the US. Women do NOT need to cover their shoulders or hair.

Will food be served?
Answer
Yes, we'll serve a full dinner of traditional Turkish food. There is no choice of entree, but multiple courses will be served, and we're confident there will be something for everyone.

Will alcohol be served?
Answer
Alcohol will not be served at this wedding. Soft drinks will be available. Alcohol will be served at our afterparty, details are below.

Is there an afterparty?
Answer
We are excited to invite our friends and family who traveled far to our after party, immediately following the wedding, where traditional Turkish mezzes and alcohol will be served. Details will be updated soon.
