It was like a fairytale - at a house party in Madison WI. Each of us in our sophomore year as Badgers.

We took a weekend getaway up to the American Club in Kohler WI, which is a secluded ( and very romantic) resort near Lake Michigan. We spent the day together hiking and sight seeing. We enjoyed a nice dinner followed by some live music. As the evening came to a close, Brennan asked if I wanted to step out to the gazebo in the courtyard. We spent a few peaceful moments reflecting on our day and how fortunate and grateful we are. That's when Brennan (finally!) got down on one knee and made me the happiest girl in the world.
