Maid of Honor
Practically a Clifford, Vanessa's been part of the clan since First Grade. More importantly she's been my best through it all. Just take this poem I wrote for her when we were 8: "Oh Vanessa you are the best Even when I won't let you rest Everyday you are the one who lights up my day like the sun Through thick and thin you are always there No other friend can compare I might have told you this before But it won't hurt if I say it one more You are my best friend"
Matron of Honor
My sister I never had. Kelsey’s my go to girl when I need advice, help planning a wedding, or just a good pep talk. Her spirit is contagious, her laughter fills a room. Her heart is full of kindness and she has taught me so much on how to do life right. Kels has been one of my main pillars through it all. Cousin by blood, sister by love!
Best Man
If you don't already, get to know this guy. Best friend since junior high, heart of gold, scientist, skiing/ music enthusiast and semi-professional canine acrobatics coach. Since high school, we (and several others on this page) have hiked 93 miles around Mt Ranier and toured Iceland and the European mainland together.
Bridesmaid
If it weren't for the fact that we are both attracted to men, Jaia and I would be Baxter Springs wives for life. My best friend and first friend from Montana, we instantly hit it off in Chem 141. She's the radest adventure mom you'll ever meet and makes the best backcountry meals.
Best Man
Jon. Jonathan. Jonny P. JP. Parrett. The man of many names was there the night Kathryn and I first began, and stood waiting for me 6 years later with friends and family the night I proposed. Best friends like this only come around once in a life. Plus, he's got some great pointers for you on your putting form.
Bridesmaid
Chelsea's a trailblazer, and world class go getter. I often wonder "How does she do it all?" Forever grateful that are paths collided in high school, she's always inspiring me to be my best self and showing up in friendship when it's needed most.
Groomsman
Al and I first met through face masks as seventh graders playing football at North Junior High. Several halloween parties, sleepovers, and a trip to Europe later, Shallow Al is still the man and able to make me laugh harder than anyone I have ever met.
Bridesmaid
I can't think of a gal I've had more fun with over the last few years. One of my first girl crushes in nursing school, before long we were roommates. We've done it all - Thailand, Tahoe Rim Trail, Mt. St Helens, music festivals.
Groomsman
Taylor was my wingman on a backpacking trip with Kathryn before we had even begun dating back in high school. Turned out well. Then he beat boxed for me while I played wine glasses during a male pageant show. His command of a frisbee and angelic voice are among this man's many hidden talents.
Bridesmaid
The kindest you'll ever meet, Ashtyn has a heart of gold. She has a knack for making the tastiest sweets and the coolest watercolors. The depths of nursing school brought us together, and the Sawtooths, San Juans, and frequent trips from Boise to Seattle have kept this soul sister close to heart.
Groomsman
This Alaskan fisherman/ future lawyer/ backcountry romper and I met in college, and he showed me the lay of the land on rock and snow with climbing trips and pre-class skinning sessions in the Montana backcountry.
Groomsman
Soon to be "murse" and ex-backpacking guide, Matt and I forged our friendship in a Wilderness First Responder class. Shots in the leg, Boise River bathing in January... Who could ask for more?
Groomsman
Kat first introduced me to Shane when I returned from studying abroad, and we've had an epic bromance ever since. He likes long walks on the beach, Starbursts, and leading me up terrifying rock cliffs.
Wedding Planner
We couldn't do this without him.
Bridesmaid
Witty and kind this gal is a go getter in all arenas. Nick's sister since day one I am so happy I get to call her mine.
