This event is semi-formal / formal. Come dressed in your Sunday best!
Check-in begins at 5:00 pm. Parking at the aquarium will be $10 a vehicle. There are other parking options downtown but on a Saturday afternoon, it can be difficult to find. There is a large parking garage across from the aquarium as well. You will need to plan accordingly as it is a bit of a walk. When you enter the aquarium you will check-in at the front desk. As the aquarium will still be open to the public we and the aquarium want to make sure there are no surprise guests to interrupt the ceremony. Once you have checked into the front desk you will receive a breakdown paper of the event. The doors will be open to the Panoramic Coral Reef Room at 5:15 pm.
Our Ceremony
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm
This event is semi formal to formal.
The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm so make sure to use the bathroom before as we would like to avoid an interruption during the 30 min ceremony. During the ceremony please refrain from using cell phones. We have our lovely photographer Grace to capture every moment and sometimes phone flashes and raised hands block the view and distract other guests. We will also have a live stream for friends and family who could not attend in person to record the ceremony and we do not want unexpected flashes to blur their viewing. Thank you!
Cocktail hour
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
After the ceremony, you will be escorted to cocktail hour and be able to tour some of the amazing exhibits the aquarium has to offer! You have an hour to enjoy yourselves so please enjoy the amazing fish, animals, and refreshments!
Our Reception
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
We will have a delicious buffet-style dinner. Due to some of our guests having food allergies, we will have seating arrangements during dinner but Jake and I hope you won't be confined to those seats and will join with other tables as we celebrate our union. Once food has been served please sit wherever you like!
