Newburyport

The beautiful historic seaside town of Newburyport, Massachusetts, 30 minutes from the Crane Estate, will be the site of a welcome party for all guests following the rehearsal dinner on June 9 as well as the farewell brunch on June 11. Guests may therefore wish to stay in Newburyport or in nearby Amesbury. Guests who want to be closer to the wedding venue might stay in Ipswich, 12 minutes from the Crane Estate.

Shuttles will run between Amesbury, Newburyport, Ipswich and the Crane Estate. Please arrive at the pick-up location 15 minutes prior to departure. The shuttles won't be able to wait for stragglers. BUS 1 5:00pm Depart Newburyport (Garrison Inn - 11 Brown Square) Drop off at Crane Estate BUS 2 4:45pm Depart Amesbury (Fairfield Inn - 35 Clark’s Road) 5:00pm Pick up in Newburyport (Garrison Inn - 11 Brown Square) 5:20pm Pick up in Ipswich (Ipswich Inn - 2 East Street) Drop off at Crane Estate Buses Return to Ipswich, Amesbury and Newburyport 10:00pm Early Departure 11:45pm Final Departure FYI: Guests staying in Plum Island can take the shuttle from Newburyport. The Newburyport Intermodal Parking Garage ($1/hour) is located at 2 Titcomb Street in Newburyport, a 2-minute walk from the Garrison Inn. The Crane Estate has free parking for guests who wish to drive.

Mbta Commuter Rail

The scenic and restful train ride from Boston's North Station to Newburyport is approximately one hour. Be mindful, it is a split line, and while Rockport is beautiful, you do not want to end up there for the weekend if you want to see us!
