Two chefs in the city, both reporting for two different jobs in the same building. Cooper was a new Chef de Cuisine and Katelynn was a traveling temp cook. Little did we know when we showed up for work that day, that we were going to be meeting our soulmate. Katelynn was in the back kitchen, when Cooper rounded the corner with his Executive Chef to introduce himself. All it took was our eyes meeting that first time to feel the connection, and our elbows touching to feel the sparks between us. Katelynn wasn't going to take no for an answer once she met this handsome Chefie boy, and basically forced Cooper to ask her out the next day, we haven't been apart since.

Marquette, Michigan; Cooper finally got to take Katelynn back to his hometown to introduce her to the place that made him the amazing man he is today. After waiting so long thanks to the global pandemic (which only strengthened our love for each other), we finally got to see all the sites Marquette has to offer. It was on the top of Sugarloaf mountain that Cooper got down on one knee and asked Katelynn to marry him. It was of course a yes! Now two years later, we are finally ready to say "I do," in the city we first fell in love in, Denver.
