This was our first pic at the lake!

Katey invited me and some friends up to her house for Labor Day weekend before we started officially dating. We played cornhole, ate the classic Brosche Low Country, listened to our friend play the guitar, and I even learned how to water ski! I remember being offered to take the jet ski out and thinking “I hope Katey comes so I can show off.” She ended up coming with me on the jet ski after I asked if she would. I did, in fact, show off by going extremely fast. I think Katey might have been faking enthusiasm and was actually terrified! I remember looking back at Katey as she held on for dear life on the jet ski and realizing, “man I love this girl.” Old Hickory Lake is the place that I fell in love with Katey and is the place of so many fun memories. All the s’mores, low countries, boat + jet ski rides and pool days have made this lake such a special place. Old Hickory Lake is the place that I now marry her. A new chapter begins at Old Hickory Lake!
