Is there a dress code?

Answer

The short answer is black-tie optional - let's get dressed up! The long answer is that a formal, black-tie optional dress code generally means midi-long evening gowns or cocktail dresses for women, and for men, dark-colored suits and ties or tuxedos are all perfect. We want to emphasize the word *optional* - please wear what you feel your best in! The (brief) ceremony will be outdoors, followed by an indoor cocktail hour and dinner. Ladies, you will not be asked to walk on grass in heels for more than 5ft to find your seat. Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes! We have a hotel room block available from September 11th to 14th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Elk Grove. Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the venue for guests staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, Elk Grove. Pick up will be promptly at 4:45pm at the Hilton and drop off back to the hotel in the evening will be at 9:15pm and 11pm. The levy roads leading to the venue are very narrow, bumpy, and it is pitch black at night. We highly encourage all guests to utilize our shuttle transportation to and from the venue or schedule car services in advance so that everyone can have a safe and fun night without worry! Uber/Lyft will drop off at the venue, but they do not pick up from the venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There are over 75 parking spaces available at the venue. We will also provide shuttle transportation to and from the Hilton Garden Inn for guests with rooms in our room block or for those who would like to park at the hotel and use the shuttle service.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Absolutely. We will have a special section on the RSVP form to indicate if you have a food allergy.
