Attire is Mountain Cocktail, comfortable yet polished. Sundresses, dressy tops, button-down shirts, and slacks are perfect choices, and jackets are welcome but not required. The ceremony will take place indoors, followed by an outdoor reception on gravel and grass, so we recommend comfortable footwear and encourage guests to bring a second pair of shoes if they’d like to change before the reception. We want everyone to feel relaxed, dressed up, and ready to celebrate together.
The ceremony will take place indoors, followed by an outdoor reception.
Yes, parking will be available at both the ceremony and reception venues. Additional details will be shared closer to the wedding.
For guests traveling in, we recommend staying in Lake Junaluska. It's a 5 minute drive from the reception venue! More details can be found on the Travel section of our website.
Cameras are not allowed during the ceremony or photo session at Miss Caroline's Chapel. There will be a quick photo session at the chapel following the ceremony. There will also be a photographer to get family and couple photos at the reception, however you can take pictures at that venue as you please.
We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before the ceremony so everyone can be seated before it begins. The ceremony venue requests that guests arrive no more than 20 minutes early.
