What is the attire?
Answer
The dress code is formal. Please no jeans or shorts. Gentlemen, a suit or tuxedo will be perfect. Ladies, an evening gown or cocktail dress. As our celebration takes place outdoors on lush grass, we kindly request avoiding stiletto heels. Opt for a chunkier heel, sandals, or other comfortable footwear to ensure you can fully enjoy the festivities without any inconvenience.

How to get to the wedding venue?
Answer
There is ample parking available at the venue. Additionally, we've arranged bus services from the hotel blocks to transport guests to and from the venue. Please note that Uber/Lyft services may not be available in the area. This mode of transportation is not recommended.

How do I take a bus to the wedding venue?
Answer
Buses will be picking up guests at all three hotel locations. For guests that are not staying at one of the room-block hotel locations, you will need to go to the Francis Marion Hotel for transportation. Please arrive early so that you are on time for departure. The guests bus schedule is as follows: Francis Marion- 4:30 P.M. departure Charleston Marriot- 4:15-4:30 P.M. departure (Bus loading zone is at Crystal Ballroom entrance, not the front door) Courtyard Waterfront- 4:40-4:55 P.M. departure Buses will also be transporting guests back to all three hotels after the reception.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
To ensure an intimate and uninterrupted experience, we kindly request no photography during the ceremony. Our professional photographers will capture all the special moments, and we'll be thrilled to share the beautiful photos with you afterward. Feel free to take as many photos as you would like after the ceremony!

How do I RSVP?
Answer
Please RSVP through the website on the "RSVP" tab. Once you enter your name, you will be prompted to RSVP for the events you are invited to. We ask that you respond by the deadline so that we can plan accordingly. We're excited to receive your response and can't wait to have you join us!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors under the oak trees. The reception will be tented on the property. While the ceremony is planned for the outdoors, we have the flexibility to move it indoors if South Carolina weather does not cooperate!

What will the weather be like during October?
Answer
The average high is 77F with an average low of 55F. Summer clothes work well, with perhaps a sweater or light jacket for the cooler evenings and early mornings.

Do you have a hotel room block for guest?
Answer
Yes, we have three different hotel blocks for guests to book. All three hotels are located in downtown Charleston. More information can be found under the "Travel & Hotel Blocks" tab.

Will food & drinks be provided?
Answer
Yes! Both food and drinks will be provided. Passed hors d'oeuvres & seafood table during cocktail hour. Dinner stations will be open during the reception, followed by a late-night snack! Food options cover most dietary restrictions. There will be an open bar available to all guest for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
