It is of the utmost importance to us to have our parents present for this ceremony, and with the bride's father being high risk we decided to move forward with a hybrid ceremony. As much as we wish we could have had the wedding we originally planned for 2020, the cards just have not been in our favor. We appreciate your understanding as these times have changed what it means to have a wedding.
We are working with Wedfuly, a company that has mastered virtual weddings in these times, and they will be setting up a Zoom link for our guests to click on and attend. That link is on your virtual invitation which was first emailed to you on August 25th. Wedfuly will also be emailing a couple of reminders before the wedding.
We highly recommend dressing up to celebrate with us! Wear something that makes you feel amazing, and if it's thrifted you get bonus points!
Yes we do! We invite you to try our Windy City Sipper, an Apple Cider Old Fashioned to celebrate our wedding: 1 bar spoonful of water, about 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon of light brown sugar 2-4 dashes Angostura bitters 2 ounces apple cider, homemade or store bought 2 ounces bourbon (Tommy recommends Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Elijah Craig or Bulleit) Ice Orange peel slice and apple slice for garnish
