We are so excited to celebrate with you!

We met while both attending Southeast Missouri State University. We were both studying in the Sport Management program and both worked for the SEMO office of admissions. Despite being in similar classes and working in the same office our paths didn't cross until September of 2017. We officially began dating in January 2018 and made great memories at school while finishing our degrees.

In August of 2019, after we both were graduated, we moved into our current home- newly renovated by Justin and his family. Not long after moving in we felt the house wasn't really our home until we had a dog- so we brought home our mini golden-doodle, Peyton, in September 2019!

We were enjoying our time living together in St. Louis, beginning our careers, exploring new restaurants, and our favorite part- Christmas lights during the holiday season. Our go to spots to visit for lights are the St. Louis Zoo, Candy Cane Lane, and Missouri Botanical Gardens- the best one! We always talked about how pretty the lights at the garden were and how we needed to come back in the Spring when the grounds were in bloom. On April 10th, 2021 we made plans to go to the garden like we had always talked about. When the day comes, it's rainy, like really rainy- and if you know anything about Justin it’s that he hates the rain. Regardless of this Justin still insisted on going with our plans. While walking through the Japanese Garden, Justin gets down on one knee (yep, in the mud) and proposes! We are so happy to be engaged and sharing this time wedding planning and building a life together.
