we're getting married!

Before Justin and Matt became roommates, they were teammates for Wheaton football. As they were quickly becoming best friends, Justin snuck his way into a FaceTime call between Matt and me on February 23, 2015, during my freshman year at Samford University. I wrote about the encounter in my journal, and proceeded to become single the very next day. I figured if there were guys out there like "Dustin" (what I thought he said his name was), then I needed to up my game. Over the next few years, I transferred to Wheaton and we dated other people while slowly getting to know each other through Matt. We admired and respected one other, but both thought the other was out of our league! It took me leaving the country for us to realize how much we would miss each other and to vocalize our feelings that had been growing over so much time. And now on February 23, 2019, the four year anniversary of that first day that we met over FaceTime, we will make a commitment to God and each other to cherish one another until death do us part.
