To help you make the most out of your visit, please find our travel tips below! —FLYING— We recommend purchasing your flights at least 3 months in advance by April 24th for the best price and route. —LODGING— There are a variety of accommodation options in the surrounding area including hotels, resorts and AirBnBs. Please find some of the top recommendations below. —TRANSPORTATION— Renting a car is the best way to get around Carmel-by-the-Sea, but there are also rideshare services available in the area, including Uber and Lyft. There will be shuttle services provided on the wedding day.

We recommend flying into this airport if possible. It is the closest to Big Sur and Carmel, where the wedding events will take place.

You might find more flight options to this airport but note it's about ~1hr drive south to where the wedding events will take place. The Monterey AirBus shuttle offers multiple rides from San Jose to Monterey Bay, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Marina, and Seaside.
