Answer

For the wedding day, please wear suits and dresses in your preferred shade of blue. **For those wearing dresses, please refrain from wearing shades of white this weekend.**

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

WELCOME PICNIC —beach casual— Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees. REHEARSAL DINNER —cocktail attire— Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. WEDDING DAY —beach formal— Suits and dresses in your preferred shade of blue. *Please note that this event will be outside so be prepared with appropriate shoes and sun protection.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, so please bring appropriate shoes and sun protection. The reception will also primarily take place outside. As it can get chilly at dusk, we suggest bringing a layer with you.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In July, the weather in Monterey county typically sees an average high of 67°F and an average low of 54°F. While rain is not common, it's worth noting that morning and afternoon fog often occur, leading to cooler temperatures during dawn and dusk.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be accommodations for transportation. More details to come!

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Out-of-town guests will need to arrange accommodations. There are several available options listed on the Travel page, including direct hotel names and starting rates. We recommend booking near Monterey, Carmel-by-the-sea, and Pacific Grove.

Question

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

Our website will be regularly updated. There will be communications sent out to all guests via email 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
