We met on an amazing trip with some of our best friends, celebrating our close friends, Krisia and Jose’s, wedding. This trip brought us together days before the main event, which meant more time to get to know other guests and explore the beautiful country of Honduras. We sat down next to each other at dinner the first night. I was so impressed by Elliott's authenticity and genuine compassion for his friends. And I was taken away by Jules’s beautiful smile and contagious energy. He told me about all of his friends at dinner, where they were from, and why they were special to him. She was the first to speak up and get everyone to introduce themselves before dinner, and I thought “Wow, she seems like a fun person.” Little did I know that Jules brings the fun wherever she goes! That next day we spent time by a beautiful beach in Tela, Honduras having a great time with friends. After that day, I felt different; I knew there was something special about Elliott. The way he looked at me was like I was the only girl in the world, which made me instantly want to hold onto him. I couldn’t stop thinking about her. I knew that Jules was truly the caring, fun-loving and adventurous person I got to know over those few days. I ended up traveling down to NYC for our first date the weekend after we got back. I will never forget that day. Our first date, turned to two, then three and countless more. Elliott supported my travel PT career and we were in a long-distance relationship. We got to know each other more each day, FaceTiming every night, spending special moments together, and taking unforgettable road trips. Over the past 4 years, Elliott has become not only my best friend but also my partner in life. I couldn't be more blessed with an amazing man and my number one supporter. I am so grateful to have Jules as my partner. She encourages my personal growth and is by my side through the highs and lows of life. She brings her light to every moment. She is my best friend.
