How we met?

May 2011

The Juans or Los Juanes met in May 2011 when Juancito joined the company where Juan was working. What started off as innocent office flirting became a full-fledged relationship by late 2011. Engaged since December 2014, The Juans finally felt ready (financially and emotionally) to get married in 2019 and decided to celebrate their union on April 20th 2019.

Introducing Juan Amestoy (Juancito)

Sweet, pretty, smart and often quiet, Juancito was born to be a valet dancer, but instead decided to focus on food. He enjoys all cooking shows and trying new food products out in farmer’s markets and supermarkets. He may seem serious at first but he has a very warm heart for his family and friends. Constant like the sea, Juan has admirable self-confidence.

Introducing Juan Lombardi

Funny, talkative, social, (puede hablar hasta con una pared) and will surely take them out for a drink afterwards. He is passionate about reading, listening to podcasts (specially about royalty) and starting to learn new languages (Portuguese, French, Dutch, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin and some more). Juan will plan and accomplish whatever he sets his mind on.

About the Wedding

The wedding will take place in San Isidro, where Juan grew up. Less than 25 km away from downtown Buenos Aires, San Isidro has a very quaint cite center and used to be the area where the Buenos Aires elite had their summer houses. The venue, Quinta de Anchorena, used to be the summer house of a well-known Argentinian family and comprises of a colonial-style house and beautiful gardens with looking down on the River Plate (Rio de la Plata) Quinta de Anchorena sits behind San Isidro’s impressive cathedral. Boy do we have some fun activities planned for y’all (Texas has had an impact on our English expressions). We advice you to fly in on Friday morning or before so that you can enjoy our protracted weekend celebrations. We understand Argentina is an exotic destination for most of you and promise to make it worth all those long hours on the plane. Saturday will be a day full of merriment, wedding celebrations will begin promptly at 5:00 pm in Quinta de Anchorena. No need to worry about transportation as well.
