Ursa Minor is Nate's favorite Brewery in Duluth!! They have great beers, yummy pizza and a big patio for larger groups.
When you visit Enger Tower, you get a historical building, a nature hike, and beautiful views all in one. This is also where Josie and Nate got engaged :)
A Duluth Breakfast Staple! A word to the wise - this place does book up and have longer wait times, especially on weekends. If you have the time and the patience, most will agree that the meals are worth the wait!
The Lakewalk is 8 miles of paved walking/biking path on the shore of Lake Superior that spans from Brighton Beach in East Duluth to Bayfront and Canal Park where our wedding will be held! If you want to get some walking in but still want to get some tourist-ing done, this is the way to do it. Take some photos by the lift bridge, grab a beer at canal park brewing, and get some ice cream at the Portland Malt Shop (all within a 2 mile walk!)
On of the best coffee shops in town. There are so many creative signature drinks and their food is tasty too. If you're a fan of chai - the Himalayan Chai is Josie's favorite!
Nate's favorite bar in Duluth! This is a cozy, cash only pub near downtown.
A great Duluth Hike! This is a shorter hike (less than 2 miles out and back) but it does include a steep climb to get to the peak, making it moderately challenging. The trail head is on the outside of Duluth so this hike can take a few hours depending where you are staying, but if you have the time, we think the view is worth it!
A super fun bar for all my buddies that like to party :)
Another great breakfast spot in Duluth! This has been confirmed to be a cure to hangovers, if that is something you are looking for post wedding night! Your typical fast pace breakfast joint.
This was the location of more than one of our Anniversary dates. It's a little on the fancier side, but if you are looking for some of the best food in northern Minnesota, you can find it here.
WARNING: This is a difficult hike!! We're talking a grueling 6.3-mile out-and-back trail with plenty of elevation change. Please do NOT do this one before the wedding!! In addition, Silver Bay is about an hour and a half outside of Duluth making this a multiple hour ordeal. With that being said, if you have the time and the energy - this is a Minnesota must!! P.S. For anyone who goes and finds the N+J carving in a tree that Nate did back in 2017 you get a big prize!! Find the photo in our gallery.
