WELCOME TO OUR WEDDING

Josh and Jordin met at Eastern Illinois University in 2016. They were both living in McKinney Hall where Josh was an RA and Jordin was a resident. They met through a mutual friend, who convinced them both to join Phi Sigma Pi. They walked together to meetings every week and became close friends. They did not begin dating until January 2019 (after Jordin had graduated from EIU) when Josh asked Jordin out for lunch (even though she still denies this was a first date).

The day before Josh proposed, he took Jordin to get mani/pedis and Jordin suspected nothing (even though everyone else guessed what was going to happen). On 9/26, Josh took Jordin to the Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford, IL. Josh was so nervous throughout but Jordin still remained unsuspecting. After lunch, they took a walk around the beautiful gardens where Josh had the ring hidden in his pocket. Once they got to a quiet bridge by themselves, Josh got down on one knee, and Jordin instantly said yes, of course.
