The couple was introduced to each other through mutual friends. The first time they met was at a bar while deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar where they danced to a few songs before going their separate ways. The next time they saw each other was during a Medical Group BBQ that the Fire Dept had been invited to. The couple exchanged contact information and have been together ever since.

What was supposed to be a birthday trip turned into a 4th July trip turned into an engagement celebration. The couple had the AMAZING opportunity to visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and scheduled their trip for the week of 4th July. They planned lots of activities to see everything Puerto Vallarta had to offer. On their first day they took a cruise to Las Caletas where they ate dinner with a beautiful ocean view. After dinner they took a walk down to the beach where a heart made of candles had been set up. Next thing Marissa knew, Josh was on one knee asking her to marry him. Of course she said yes! But the night didn't end there. Afterwards they had tons of pictures taken and went on to see a fantastic Rhythms of the Night performance before boarding the cruise ship and heading back to Puerto Vallarta.

In a private ceremony we exchanged vows and officially became Mr. & Mrs. 💍 Now, we can’t wait to relive the magic and celebrate this next chapter with all the people who mean the most to us. Join us for a joyful evening of love, laughter, and happily ever after!
