Four years ago, Josh and Lexi met working at the pool at Caesars Palace. Josh was a Cabana Host, and Lexi was a Cabana Cashier. Both of their lives were incredibly busy, and they originally felt like their lives were headed in different directions. They spent a fun summer at the pool working together flirting and having fun, but the timing was never right for a relationship. When the summer came to an end, Lexi left the pool and starting working another job. The two of them never talked while they were separated, and Josh continued working at Caesars. A year passed when Lexi was offered the opportunity to come back to the pool at Caesars with a management position. The first person she saw when she came back and walked into the pool office was Josh. They looked at each other and said, "Ugh, you again?!" (Yes, Lexi never lets him live it down that she was his boss). They began talking more outside of work, and the rest from there is history. A couple of weeks after the first date, Josh picked Lexi up with his beautiful daughter, Mia. Lexi and Mia instantly connected, and they all started to become a happy family.
It was the day before Valentine's Day when Josh made the plan to propose to Lexi. They spent the morning going to their favorite breakfast place in town, where Josh originally planned to get down on one knee. During breakfast, Lexi could sense he was nervous about something. Little did she know, Josh had a ring in his pocket and was going to ask her to spend forever with him. The restaurant was the most crowded Josh had ever seen it, and he was too nervous to propose in front of a large crowd. He made a quick decision then to take her on a hike to Red Rock National Park, where it was more private and he knew she loved. Upon getting to Red Rock, they began walking down a trail. After walking for a good 20 minutes, Lexi sat down on a rock and asked if they could take a break. When she sat down she looked at Josh who had a tear in his eye, and she asked him what was wrong. Before she knew it, he was getting down on one knee and pulling out a ring. February 13, 2017 was the day that the two of them agreed to spend the rest of their lives together.
