The Pasea Hotel

As the place of our wedding, the Pasea is a beachfront paradise. Voted California's top beach resort, the Pasea boasts ocean views in each room and is conveniently located across the beach on Pacific Coast Highway and has the famous "Tanners Treehouse" bar. 1. The Hilton Waterfront Resort is directly next to the Pasea and is similarly priced 2. The Huntington Beach Inn is slightly further down on Pacific Coast Highway (still walking distance) 3. Sun 'n Sands Motel is also walking distance and right on Pacific Coast Highway. No frills but budget-friendly.

John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA)

This is our home-based airport! It is located about 20-25 minutes away from the hotels/Huntington Beach. Ubers/Lyft/taxis/rental cars are plentiful. This is the #1 option for flying to our destination.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

An alternative from flying into John Wayne, LAX provides multiple flights to/from thousands of destinations. While this airport is only 30 miles away, it may take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours to get to/from because it is located in the heart of LA where traffic isn't always ideal. If you book LAX, be SURE to give yourself enough time. I would recommend to plan it will take about 1.5 hours just to be safe. The use of traffic apps (Waze, Maps, etc) is also a smart move to refer to while planning. Mornings from 6am-9am and afternoons from 3pm-6pm can be brutal, so be sure to give yourself a little extra time :)
