Ikaria National Airport (JIK)
The closest airport is Ikaria Island National Airport (JIK). It’s a small airport. Book your flight early if you're planning on flying. You can fly into Athens (ATH) and then take a short connecting flight to Ikaria (usually around 45–60 minutes). Aegean Airlines is the main carrier. Alternative Route Ferries to Ikaria also depart from Piraeus Port (just outside Athens) and nearby islands like Mykonos or Samos. Ferry rides can take 6–9 hours from Athens depending on the route and conditions.

The wedding will take place at Toxotis Villas in Armenistis. There are several great options nearby: Erofili Beach Hotel – Overlooks the water in Armenistis; close to everything. Daidalos Hotel – Near the venue, with a pool and beautiful hillside views. Cavos Bay Hotel – Simple and charming, just a short walk to beaches and restaurants. Atsachas Rooms – Budget-friendly and right on the beach, but with minimal amenities. Airbnb & Vrbo – Great for groups or longer stays; search near Armenistis for the most convenient location. Taxi Information
There are no Ubers or rideshare apps on the island and only a limited number of taxis. We recommend booking your airport or port transportation in advance. We’ll share more local taxi contacts and shuttle info as the date gets closer.
