Yes, if you're a US or Canadian citizen. The visa allows you to stay 90 days and is valid for 10 years, and takes about a month to process. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. The following link is the official Brazil Visa site: http://brazil.vfsevisa.com/homepage

Question

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

The nearest international airport is Navegantes - NVT. Most of the flights departing from US must arrive in Guarulhos, São Paulo. Then, there is a 50 minute connection flight to NVT. From there, it’s about 40 minutes to Balneario Camboriu. We recommend booking flights early for the best fares!

Question

Will transportation be provided from the airport?

Answer

We’ll have optional shuttles from the airport for all guests. Let us know your arrival time and date so we can help coordinate rides.

Question

What language do Brazilians speak?

Portugese! While some Brazilians speak English, most do not. Brazilians are very warm people and will use gestures, and go out of their way to try and help you communicate. Knowing a few basic phrases will go a long way, and of course there's always Google Translate.

Question

Will I be able to understand the ceremony

Answer

Yes! We've had so much fun coming up with creative ways to make it a multi-cultural, bi-lingual ceremony. It truly makes us emotional imagining our two families coming together. We will have English and Portuguese printed programs, translations and Jonathan's best friend Paulo will serve as our bilingual officiant. Our photographer, wedding planner, and most of the wedding staff speak also English.
