We met just where you would expect to find lasting love... Tinder! And we still laugh about it! We had a few mutual friends so Adele thought Jonathan might not be a serial killer, and Jonathan thought that Adele's blurry profile pictures and short blurb were mysterious enough for a first date. We went on three dates the first week and the rest is history...

Jonathan really likes a good surprise so began thinking about setting something up in early 2019. By mid-2019, he had a ring and a plan... propose to Adele on one of her least favorite days of the year: the start of football season! The date was set, the plan was set, and many of our friends and family knew to meet us at one of our favorite bars to surprise Adele around 7pm on August 9th (kickoff of the Saints' first preseason game). Adele, surprisingly, wasn't as excited about a preseason football game and decided to work late at a medical convention on that Friday, so she didn't show up to Jonathan's house until almost 8pm - where he proposed to her, succeeded in surprising her, had a drink with her, and promptly ordered an Uber! We made it to Oak Wine Bar about an hour late (but very happy) to a gathering of friends and family from all over! It was a great night and now Adele will always have to smile when thinking about the start of football season!
