We recommend bringing your car, renting a car, hiring a private driver, or trying out Uber (inconsistent). We are working on a shuttle service so stand by for details.

Yes, it's perfectly safe just avoid traveling at night so you don't get lost.

What type of car should I rent?

Answer

We recommend renting a car that can handle dirt roads and occasional rocks. If it rains, you'll definitely wish you had 4-wheel drive.

Yes, but it may take a while. Check out UberVALLE on the Uber app for rides to and from San Diego.

Yes, we recommend carrying 500-1000 pesos for snacks and souvenirs, but the majority of restaurants, wineries, and hotels take credit and debit cards.

Yes, most phone providers have North American plans that charge a daily international fee for cellular, call, and text for around $5/day.

Check out AirBnB, or simply Google hotels in the area and you'll find plenty of great options. Look in the "Travel" tab for places we've stayed.

Yes, there will be plenty of parking, but we are also working on shuttle transport.
