I met Jackie exactly 2 million years ago. okay, it was 2005. We met through a friend I made at my first job after moving to Washington. I am mostly sure we met at The Buzz Inn, not that it matters. The things that actually matter are how she has been there for me and my family in the most painful time in my life, she's been there in the good and fun times, also part of my less than good choices period. Hell, this woman once licked every member of my immediate family. I am so eternally grateful for her and all she is willing to do, asking for nothing in return.

Shane and I met when we were 15. WAY back in 2000. He has been a member of my family ever since. Way back when we were teenaged kids, Shane picked on me like crazy. The only thing he did better was protecting me and making sure I was safe. I was afraid of someone (a vampire) coming in through my second-story window, so he made me a vampire-slaying stick. At my birthday party, he sucked down Mt. Dew and then magically when he tossed his cookies, it was all bright blue. This guy was my best friend even when I didn't like me. As my brother and one of my oldest friends, I could not imagine marrying the man of my dreams without him by my side.
