Lassen Volcanic National Park
Mt. Lassen (10,457') is the centerpiece of this National Park and the world largest plug dome volcano. The park has a cool visitor center, many stunning vistas as you drive through the park, and hiking trails of all distances and abilities. All four types of volcanoes in the world are found within Lassen Volcanic National Park. Over 150 miles of trails and a scenic highway provide access to epic sights including steam vents, mudpots, boiling pools, volcanic peaks, and painted dunes

Lake Almanor
Lake Almanor is a gem hidden in the northeastern mountains of California. Michelle's family has been enjoying summers there for over 30 years. Fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, bird watching, and all manner of fun can be had on the lake. Biking, golfing, and hiking are available too.
