We met unexpectedly through mutual friends in 2021, at a time where neither was looking for a relationship. Our first date (aka the first time we met) was at a diner, where we played an inquisitive Christian card game. The latter game's end goal was to have participants get to know each other, by means of asking both superficial and thought provoking questions meant to bring out the whole truth about their lives. We became so enthralled with each others life story, personality, and presence , that six hours passed in the blink of an eye. When we arrived at the diner, it was full of patrons enjoying dinner. We were the last one's to leave the now deserted diner that night. Shortly thereafter, and by revelation of the Holy Spirit, Johnathan claimed Genesis as his wife to be. It is at this point that we began to be purposefully intentional about our relationship. At every junction since our first meeting, God continually confirmed the divine orchestration of this relationship.

Poco tiempo después, y por revelación del Espíritu Santo, Johnathan afirmó que Génesis sería su esposa. Es en este punto fue que comenzamos a ser deliberadamente intencionales acerca de nuestra relación. En cada cruce desde el día que nos conocimos, Dios confirmó continuamente la orquestación divina de esta relación.

Johnathan planned an extravagant rendezvous in Maryland that was supposed to end in a proposal at a five star restaurant on the date of Genesis' birthday. Well, life "lifed" Johnathan and things did not go according to his will and plan. Instead, while basking over the beauty of the sunset at a gorgeous hotel overseeing a harbor, Johnathan & Genesis played the same inquisitive Christian card game they played on their first date. Johnathan strategically picked the number and type of questions they asked each other during this card game session. The focus was on questions emphasizing being engaged, getting married, & creating a family together. Upon Genesis reading her final question, "Why Aren't You Married Yet?", Johnathan got on one knee and proposed to the love of his life! Genesis didn't see it coming! All glory be to God!
