I’ve known Meredith for 30 years. We played on the same sports teams, went to the same schools, lived in the same neighborhood. We grew up together. We lived in California, West Africa, and Baltimore together as adults. It’s difficult to describe how close our relationship is. She’s a sister to me and I’m so excited to be part of this next chapter in her life.

It was pure luck that I met Meredith in college. We bonded quickly over our love of the woods, trampolines, and calling people by their last name (thank you, lacrosse). After school I found a job in Colorado, but was having difficulty coming to terms with leaving my friends. Meredith looked me in the eye and said “It doesn’t matter where you are, we’ll still be friends.” No truer words were ever spoken. I’m so happy that MEngel found Joel, and can’t wait to see what this next adventure brings!
