Joe and Sabrina met in the fall of 2023 on Hinge — and yes, it was a little miraculous. They lived just four blocks apart in Murray Hill, shopped at the same grocery store, and even went to the same boxing gym… yet somehow never met. Sabrina loved Joe’s comment about knowing the best sandwich spot, and Joe was captivated by her voice note about solo cruising around Europe. One week of nonstop messaging later (and a very important 30th birthday wish), they finally went on their first date. Drinks turned into hours, laughter overflowed as Joe endured Sabrina's "hot seat". When Joe walked Sabrina home, they both felt a spark they couldn’t ignore. From ice skating in Central Park to belting out songs at Café Wha? and getting roasted at The Underground comedy show, their NYC adventures were full of laughs, memories and a ton of pizza. Movie nights involved Joe watching rom-coms and Disney movies for Sabrina… and Sabrina enduring endless Linkin Park and Jay-Z videos for Joe. After Joe “moved home” to Westchester, they started spending most nights together in Sabrina’s tiny studio apartment, figuring out life as a team—and loving it. Meeting each other’s friends and families only confirmed what they already knew: everyone fit together seamlessly, and it felt like they had all known each other forever. Today, they’ve built a home together in Port Chester, New York, where they love biking to Playland, cooking dinner side by side, competing in endless matches of Monopoly Deal and staying up late watching their favorite sports games and TV shows. Their shared love of travel and the beach continues to grow—and it was only fitting that on August 19, 2025, during a trip to Newport, Rhode Island, Joe got down on one knee at sunset by a lighthouse. With happy tears in her eyes, Sabrina said yes—and the rest is just the beginning of their happily ever after.
