Montrose is the closest and largest airport to Telluride. It is about 90 minutes away, and serviced by multiple large airlines.

DIA is about 6 hours from Telluride and has a ton of flights. The drive from DIA to Telluride is beautiful with many scenic stops along the way.

Telluride Airport

Telluride Airport is a small airport about 10 minutes from town. It does not have many flights into it, and flights can often be cancelled due to weather or winds. If the weather is good, it's a great option but is a bit more expensive than Montrose or DIA.

This is where the Bridal Party will be staying. The reception will be held here on Friday evening. A limited number of rooms are blocked for the wedding guests. It is our recommended location to stay, however it is not the cheapest. To save money, we would recommend staying either at the Mountainside Inn in town, or getting a VRBO/AirBNB with family/friends in Mountain Village or in town. Also consider staying in Ridgway or Ouray early in the week where hotels are cheaper, then moving to Telluride for Thursday through Sunday. You can ride the FREE Gondola between town and Mountain Village throughout the day and until 2am on Friday and Saturday. Single King Rooms are $453/night with the discount (click on link). If you need a double king room, please let us know and we can add one to the block.

Telluride Mountainside Inn

Mountainside Inn is a simple but decent hotel about a 10 min walk from the base of the Gondola in town. Riley and I have stayed here a few times. It is basic, but you don't go to Telluride to spend time in your room, so it is a good option for those looking to save some money. It averages about $200/night for a room that sleeps 2-4. Bear Creek Lodge Telluride

Another great budget option - this one is in the village and closer to the reception location than the Mountainside Inn (The Peaks Hotel) although nothing is far here. Get 5% off with the discount code. Bear Creek Lodge at Mountain Village is beautifully situated adjacent to the Telluride Ski Resort. Use of the Lower Village Bypass run and a semi-private lift provides access to the slopes within minutes. The 31 condos, ranging from one to four bedrooms, all include a gas fireplace and a newly remodeled kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
