Jordan and Becca were raised in very different places. Becca grew up in a warm and sunny, southern California city by the ocean, and JD grew up in Bozeman- a smaller Montanan town where you could have all four seasons in the middle of July. Their paths began to grow closer after Becca finished up her studies in northern California, and was looking for a new adventure and a start to the next chapter of her life. Little did she know, it would lead her somewhere she never would've expected. Meanwhile, JD was keeping himself busy by balancing work and youth ministry. Now we open on the summer of 2017. Becca was invited by one of her best friends living in Bozeman to be part of her wedding, and JD was the best man at the same wedding. Simply put, there it was. The one thread among the many chords braided throughout their lives, that finally connected them. In the tradition of romance, the happy couple first met at a Buffalo Wild Wings. Becca had heard about this crazy boy who pulled all nighters, cried during "P.S. I Love You", and cooked amazing food. She was nervous, and in her attempts to impress this new crowd in Montana, she ordered the hottest thing on the menu. JD being the chivalrous gentleman he is, ate them after Becca couldn't take the heat. Needless to say, a few blazin' wings later, a new friendship was forming. While being among the mountains, rivers, and trees of the Gallatin valley, Becca fell in love with Montana- and JD with the one who adored it. After being friends for a while, Becca traveled to Finland for an art residency. Upon returning to Montana, JD finally decided to finally tell her about how he felt. The veil shattered, Becca wanted to get to know her amazing friend in a new way. They enjoyed dinner dates, stargazing on camping trips, and doing life together. Soon both of them realized they wanted to continue their adventures together for the rest of their lives.
