Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that you wear black tie optional attire. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers. The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn (weather permitting) so take that into account for your high-heel decision!

Where should we book our hotel?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block for the Courtyard by Marriott Danbury. The block will be active until 6/17/2024. There will be a limited number of rooms available for 7/18/2025 and 7/19/2025. If you are looking to book your stay here please refer to the "travel" page for more information.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that our guest RSVP by July 1st, 2025.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be a 55 passenger coach bus, that will run on a schedule. -Please note that there will be limited availability for transportation to the venue. -We encourage our guest that decide to utilize Lyft or Uber to order their rides 30 minutes ahead of schedule.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

There will be plenty of parking space available at the venue.

Are children invited?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know in your RSVP. The Candlewood Inn is able to work with your dietary needs.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly keep your phones away so we can all be present in the moment. Our memories will be captured by our wonderful photographers and videographer. You are more than welcome to take pictures throughout the rest of the night.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive between 3:30-4:00 PM. The Ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unless your invitation includes a guest by name or specifically says “and guest,” we kindly ask that you come on your own. If you’re unsure whether a guest was included on your invitation, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Am I invited to the wedding?

Answer

If you received an invitation in the mail or by email, then yes—we’re so excited to celebrate with you! If you haven’t received a formal invite, we truly appreciate your love and support from afar, but the celebration is reserved for those listed on our guest list.
