What a lot of people don’t know about Tate and I, is that we met on an online dating site. What started off as exchanging a few messages back and forth to our first date at Hu hot, and the rest was history from there. The week of July 4th 2018, we went on a road trip out west. We went to South Dakota, north Dakota, Montana, but the most memorable was Wyoming. We knew we wanted to make it to Yellowstone for our trip. I for one was super excited and knew we had to see the rainbow geyser. It’s beautiful rainbow colors as I saw pictures on all of the websites. We were approaching the parking area for the geyser and it was packed and Tate was saying how we probably can’t go see it because there’s too many people and he almost drove past it (what a sass). He found a spot and we hiked to it. Mind you this was close to a 2 mile walk. Once we got up to the geyser unfortunately it was cloudy that day so you couldn’t see all the colors as well but Tate knew I wanted a picture. He suggested we ask a tourist to take a picture so I picked one out. He took a couple pictures and the guy was going to give his phone back, until Tate asked if he could take one more picture. To my surprise I turned around to see why in the world the man who hated pictures would want another, and he was on his knee with my ring asking me to marry him. After being shocked, without a doubt said yes!
