Laissez le bon temps rouler!

Jay and Carling met through a mutual friend, William Maxwell Kotler. William is one of Carling’s best friends from growing up and was roommates with Jay in medical school. Jay and Carling had heard stories of each other and even FaceTimed long before they ever actually met. When they finally met in person, they instantly clicked and shared lots of good laughs. Jay came down to New Orleans and experienced Mardi Gras for the first time with Carling – they enjoyed good music, parades, crawfish boils, and even multiple golf cart breakdowns with Carling's family and friends! Fast forward several months - a global pandemic happened, and the two decided to be in each other’s germ-safe bubble. Carling and Jay made the most of things, as they often do... sharing more good laughs during long bike rides through the neighborhood, waving to friends and getting know each other even better. Carling cooked odd things for Jay, and he ate them all without ever questioning what was on his plate (he even ate onions!). Jay eventually moved from South Carolina down to New Orleans, and the rest is history! They are both excited to start this new chapter with y’all in April in Carling’s hometown, New Orleans—the place where all the excitement began.
