Many people know that Becca and Jason spent three years at Mendham Golf and Tennis without more than a passing word, but could it be that that’s where their love story began? No, they matched on Hinge. Jason had a killer opener, “What’s a groutfit?” and Becca was instantly intrigued and more than ready to gush about her obsession with monochromatic outfits. After a few failed attempts at a first date, they finally went on their first date to Stirling Tavern in May 2023. Sparks flew. By the end of the following week, they had already been on three more dates. Jason’s lease was ending in Bayonne and he was looking to move back to Morristown, where Becca was currently living, it was as if the stars aligned. They spent the summer getting to know each other and building a strong foundation for their relationship. By fall they knew what they had was special. In June 2024, they moved in together, and soon after, their little family grew with the arrival of Humphrey. From that point on, being dog parents became their whole personality, proudly documented through the weekly fan-favorite “Humph Day” posts. Fast forward to March 2025, Jason proposed quietly at home, with a little help from Humphrey, giving Becca enough time to lock in the wedding venue and date of her dreams. And now here we are looking forward to starting our next chapter surrounded by our friends and family who mean the most to us.
