We're Getting Married

Janelle and Pat met the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Their mutual friend invited Pat to join them at a social distancing picnic and introduced them. After hours of playful banter and intense questioning, Pat told Janelle he wasn't ending his night until she gave him her phone number, and Janelle replied, "well, get comfortable because you'll be here awhile". Considering where we are now, you can assume Janelle gave Pat her number :)

For Janelle's birthday, Pat planned a trip to St. Lucia. As they prepared for Janelle's birthday dinner, Pat learned they incorrectly scheduled his proposal plans one day too early, cutting into his original dinner plans! As they prepared for dinner, Janelle broke a nail (on THAT finger) which delayed their "spontaneous" photo shoot. One fixed nail and a hangry Janelle later, they managed to navigate to the end of the photoshoot where Janelle was greeted with Pat down on one knee and "Will You Marry Me" spelled in candlelights. Janelle was so excited that she yelled out "YES!" without any hesitation. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Playa del Carmen!
