Our Story
Madison, WI was the beginning of our story and will always hold a very special place in our hearts. After surviving undergrad together Jamie moved to Detroit to work on cars while Alex started his PhD in Madison. Then Jamie found her way back to Madison for graduate school and then off to Milwaukee! Alex moved to Princeton NJ after finishing his PhD and a few months later Jamie ended up in Cupertino CA - opposite sides of the country. Jamie and her parents flew to Princeton to visit Alex for Fourth of July weekend (July 4th is her parents wedding anniversary). Jamie thought they were going to a nice dinner for her parents on the 4th of July and Alex said how about we go for a walk before dinner - Jamie said no way it's too hot and humid out and Jamie's mom said c'mon! Little did Jamie know Alex was about to pop the question - ABOUT TIME! And the rest is history. We're so excited to celebrate with our most loved family and friends and begin our lives in CA together when Alex finishes his Post Doc at Princeton in Jan 2027. XOXO, LETS DO THIS!!!
