Jalen proposed during a Thanksgiving weekend getaway in the quaint town of Lititz, Pennsylvania, just outside of amish country. It was under the beautiful Christmas Tree at the Wilbur, a hotel that was formerly a chocolate factory.

Finding our home was an unexpected surprise! In May, we began to discuss going about getting preapproved for a mortgage, since the market wasn’t changing any time soon. We were quickly outgrowing our space, especially with having the dog, Mack. Once we were preapproved, we set out on showings. After viewing six properties and placing two offers, 48 hours later, we had two accepted offers! We narrowed down our choice and began the quick closing process. Who knew, after two days of hunting, that our search would come to a close. Not only is our wedding a celebration of us and all of you, but it is also a celebration of this unexpected home.
