Travel
Naples International Airport (NAP) is the closest airport to Sorrento. Rome (FCO) is also an option, but the travel time to Sorrento is much longer.
You can arrange a private car transfer, which is the easiest and most comfortable way to arrive, especially with luggage (about 60-75 min). We recommend booking in advance; the driver will pick you up from arrivals.
You may also travel from NAP to Sorrento by train. Take a taxi from NAP to Naples Garibaldi Station (about 15-20 min), then take the Campania Express to Sorrento (about 50 min). We recommend the Campania Express over Circumvesuviana due to safety and comfort.
If you prefer a scenic route, there is also a ferry option. From NAP, take a taxi to Molo Beverello port (about 15-20 min) and ferry to Sorrento (~35-40 min). The ferry runs from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You can purchase tickets the same day, though booking in advance is recommended.
