We can’t wait to spend this special day with you! Please take a look around our website and refer back to it whenever you have questions, or just send us a text! Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children in order to meet guest number restrictions. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.
Arianna's best friend, and bridesmaid Amanda, had tried to set us up for months but Arianna wasn't interested in dating while in school. It wasn't until Arianna was looking for a summer job that Amanda connected Jake and Arianna via text. Jake didn't get her a job (what a jerk!), but they met up for Cinco de Mayo with Arianna's sisters and best friends. He managed to survive the whole night with them, and did it with charm. The rest of that week they couldn't stay away from each other. Then a week later, they were separated by 5,000+ miles, Jake in Hawaii and Arianna in Boston.
The morning of, I flew out to Oahu to meet up with Arianna. We went up to the North Shore to meet up with some friends (who were in on the whole thing and ready to take pictures). We got dressed for dinner and I told her we should go watch the sunset on the beach. As we are walking and searching for beach glass, it began to rain on us and I thought my chance was going to be blown by the weather. It let up just enough to take my shot and pop the question. After giving her the ring I heard her say "oh no, I dropped it!" For a split second, I thought she was talking about the ring, but thankfully she had only dropped the beach glass while I was putting the ring on her finger.
