Honua Kai has several options to suit your party size. We recommend this location if you are looking far a central location, dining options at the resort, or a kitchen to cook your own meals. Discounts are available for AAA members. You might also find luck with sites such as VRBO. We booked in January through VRBO and it was significantly cheaper and included a car rental.

The only major airport on Maui is located in Kahului which is on the East side of the island. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the Lahaina/Kaanapali area from the airport. There is a Costco located near by if you are staying in a room that has a kitchen. We recommend not flying in on Sunday the 13th. The Maui marathon is occurring that morning impacting traffic until about 1pm.
