Growing up in Hayward, they shared so many of the same places and memories, just at different times. From sitting outside Cecil’s with a burger and shake, to drive thru runs at Senida’s for a shredded chicken burrito, to those classic C St. Casper’s hot dogs on the low diner chairs, served of course by the same no nonsense ladies. They even both played baseball at Tennyson American and walked the same middle school halls without ever knowing it. Looking back, it feels like their paths were always circling each other, just waiting for the right moment to finally meet. Then one day, Jade found herself at Mikey and his brother David’s apartment while stopping by with a friend. It was there, in the most unassuming way, that Jade and Mikey met for the first time. What started as a simple introduction quickly became something neither of them could ignore. From that moment on, they were inseparable. It turns out, Jade didn’t just walk through a door that day she walked straight into the love of her life.
