The wedding block has the vast majority of the ranch rooms blocked, and unavailable for booking online. You will need to call the ranch at 406-995-4283 to book your requested room/style. If you do book online (or have already booked one of the remaining rooms online), you will need to call to get the wedding block discount.
Cell phone service is spotty to non-existent at the ranch (enjoy the serenity!); however, free Wi-Fi is available in each cabin and most common areas.
The nearest airport is Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), approximately 54 miles north of 320 Ranch. BZN is served by America's premier airline, Delta Air Lines with flights from MSP, ATL, SLC, and LAX. BZN is also served by most other standard air carriers.
We recommend for our guests to drive a personal car or to rent a car if possible. Part of the beauty of 320 Guest Ranch is getting to spend your time on the ranch and having activities here, but the other part is exploring the Gallatin Canyon and Yellowstone National Park! If a car isn’t an option, there are various shuttle services in the area: Karst Stage: www.karststage.com ~ 406-556-3540 or 800-287-4759 Shuttle to Big Sky & Taxi: www.bigskytaxi.com~ 406-995-4895 or 888-454-5667 Big Sky Shuttle: www.BigSkyShuttle.net~ 866-661-6836 Classic Limo: www.bozemanlimo.com ~ 406-534-0948
In mid-August, Big Sky, Montana typically enjoys pleasant summer weather, making it a great time to visit, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate together. Here's what you can expect: Temperature: Daytime Highs: Around 70–80°F (21–27°C). Nighttime Lows: Can drop to 35–45°F (2–7°C), so evenings can feel cool. Conditions Sunny and Dry: August is one of the driest months, with lots of sunshine and minimal precipitation. Low Humidity: The air is crisp and dry, making it comfortable even in warmer temperatures. Other Considerations Altitude Effects: Big Sky's elevation (around 7,200 feet) means the sun can feel stronger, so sunscreen is a must. Quick Weather Changes: Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so having a light jacket or layers is a good idea!
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors under the big sky, weather permitting. Should there be inclement weather, the wedding will be held indoors at Wilson Lodge, which is on property. The reception and dance will be in a large tent, along the beautiful Gallatin River. Other events, including the Montana Welcome Party, and Ranch Social & Bonfire will be outdoors, weather permitting. If inclement weather prevents either, the Welcome Party will be in Wilson Lodge, and the Social will be at McGill's Saloon (on property).
Our wedding will be a celebration of love, summer, and the beauty of Montana—and we’d love for your outfits to reflect that! Cocktail attire is a great blend of polished and relaxed: think summer dresses, jumpsuits, or a sharp suit or sport coat with dress pants. Ties are welcome but not required. Expect warm days and cooler mountain evenings, so bring a layer just in case. And if you feel inspired to add a bit of Montana flair—like boots, a bolo tie, or western accents—we’re all for it. Dress to feel good, look great, and dance the night away under the Big Sky.
Absolutely! We can't wait to celebrate with our families and friends - and their kiddos. 320 Ranch has dedicated activities for kids: "Wanna be a Wrangler" for those wanting to ride horses, and "Wanna be an Angler" for those wanting to learn how to fly fish.
Contact either Jake or Cullan directly!
Nope! We're excited to be the first gay wedding at the 320 Ranch - and they're equally excited to have us as their first!
