Flight
The closest airport to Udine is Venice Marco Polo Airport. There are direct flights to Venice from NYC in the summer, but they can be pricey. From Venice, you can either rent a car and drive to Udine (1.5 hours) or you can take public transportation.
Flight
A cheaper option for flying to northern Italy is flying into Milan. From the Milano Malpensa Airport, you can rent a car and drive to Udine in about 4 hours. Let us know if you want recommendations on towns to stop along the way.
Train
If you want to take public transportation from Venice airport to Udine, you can either take a cab or a bus from the airport to the Venezia Mestre train station. From there, you can take a direct train to Udine (about 2-hour ride). Taxis will be right outside the airport (about 15 minute ride). Shuttle

There will be shuttle buses to drive guests to our wedding venue. The buses will depart at 4:15 pm on the dot from the Astoria Hotel Italia in Udine, so please be there on time! Buses will also drive guests back to Udine starting at midnight, then again at 1:30 am. The final bus will leave the venue at 3 am.
Travel Note
Udine is a very walkable city. We recommend staying in the city center, but there are taxis if you need or want to stay outside town. We'll post more information about them soon.
