I think for both of us, Bumble was the last place we were expecting to meet our soulmate. I remember thinking, as I tried to come up with a catchy pickup line to send to Jake, that if this guy is another bro looking for a hookup I would be done with dating. Not even a month later, I was head over hills for this Kraybill. Covid had hit and everything was shut down. Our dates were comprised of hiking in the mountains, endless conversations and cooking together. I don’t even think we saw our first movie together at a movie theater for at least a year into our relationship. Things were so different and the love was instant. Jake was and is everything I needed in every way possible.
