We're Getting Married!

Nick and I both happened to be at the same bar, neither of us frequent. After Nick asked to buy me a drink, I only declined twice before finally agreeing. Something about Nick must have stuck out to me, I accepted his drink and a request for a date.

What I thought was a normal brunch turned into much more. It was about a week before our 4 year anniversary and we went to brunch with some of my friends and family. Then we went to the bar we met at and I still had no idea. There Nick gave me the first card. In that card and next three cards it took us back to the place we first met, ran into each other and to our first date. On the fourth card, we were to take a walk to the fifth card. I walked around the corner on the Ottawa riverwalk, where all our family and friends were waiting, holding a sign saying Will You Marry Me? Obviously I said yes and was completely surprised. Now we are lucky enough to have all of you share in this next chapter of our life.
