We'll be in Bosnia & Herzegovina from at least August 20-27, then on the island of Hvar, Croatia until September 3. Feel free to come say hi if you'll be on Hvar too! * Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months before you travel!
Flight
We recommend:
Book a round-trip flight to Croatia, either Split (SPU) or Dubrovnik (DBV) airport, arriving Saturday, August 22; or Sunday, August 23. The latest recommended arrival is Monday, August 24, as we'll be holding a Welcome to Mostar event and we'd love to see you there. We recommend a trip of at least one week, plus an additional week if you'll be exploring Croatia further, before or after the wedding. Note that Split is the easier option if you’d also like to visit the islands, as it’s a major ferry hub. Search for tickets on Google Flights; good prices range from $1100-$1600 CAD, including a bag and carry-on. The earlier you book, the better. If you're travelling solo, we can coordinate travel partners. Flights are approximately 9 hours from Toronto (YYZ) to Croatia + usually 1 layover city. Common airlines are Air Canada, as well as any European airline, including Condor, Lufthansa, KLM, etc. AIR CANADA DISCOUNT CODE: CRMZTB71 Alternative options: You can fly into Zagreb, Croatia (ZAG), and take a connecting flight directly to Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina (OMO). You can also fly into Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina (SJJ); also a 2 hour drive to Mostar. Once you fly in, spend some time exploring the historic old towns of either Split or Dubrovnik, Croatia; or even at the end of your trip.

On top of the flight, it's approximately a 2 hour drive from Split or Dubrovnik, Croatia to Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Let us know if you need travel assistance and we can help arrange carpools. We're working on recommendations for transport from Croatia to Bosnia & Herzegovina. Options to include car rental agencies from the airport, bus, or paid private van transport. If you're planning to take a bus, check online for Flixbus, Omio, and Globtour bus routes from the airport. Note that we'll be providing shuttle services on the day of the wedding, August 26. We recommend staying at Hotel Storia located in the town of Čapljina, Bosnia & Herzegovina, as we've booked all 23 rooms for 3 nights; August 24, 25 and 26. This is where our Reception & Party will be held, and it aligns well with our Schedule. Let us know if you'd like to stay here, and we can give you a 20% discount and coordinate rooms, making it an affordable option. Note that it's a comfortable hotel, not luxe, and is a 35 minute drive outside Mostar.

City Hotel is a nice hotel located in the city of Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina. It's a 35 minute drive from the Reception venue. We're working on reserving a block of rooms here as well.
