FAQs

Question

What is the preferred guest attire?

Answer

The wedding is Black-Tie Optional. Guests are asked to wear black formal clothes in which they are most comfortable. Men may opt for either tuxedos or suits, while women may choose to wear floor-length evening gowns or cocktail dresses/attire. Due to the expected drop in temperature as the sun sets, it is recommended that guests consider bringing a shawl or coat. We jokingly discourage ladies from wearing white - unless you are marrying the groom. We also jokingly remind men that although the attire is "Black"-Tie Optional, the color black and styles of ties are welcome.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! When entering Dunes West, guests will need to mention at the front gate that they are here for the Garcia & Stoner wedding or bring their wedding invitation. Guests will be able to leave their vehicles in parking spaces at the Clubhouse, just steps away from the ceremony and reception location. The couple requests that all guests in attendance drink responsibly and that drivers refrain from leaving the premises in their vehicles while intoxicated. If needed, there are numerous options available that can provide safe rides for guests - including the wedding shuttle to the designated hotels and private transportation companies.

Question

What transportation options are available?

Answer

WEDDING SHUTTLE SERVICE The bride and groom are providing transportation to and from the wedding at no cost for guests staying at the following hotels: TBA. Please view the "Travel Recommendations" section of the website for more information and departure times. *Please be advised that commercial ride-sharing is not a reliable option for wedding transportation due to the location of the venue and limited reception in the area. It is highly recommended that guests use a private transportation company or the shuttle provided.

Question

Are additional guests allowed at the wedding ceremony or reception?

Answer

Although we wish we could include everyone who we hold dear, due to limited seating - there is only space for those guests specifically named on the invitation.

Question

Are children allowed to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

To allow as many of our guests the chance to let their hair down, we ask that only immediate family members bring children to the celebration. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What if I have mobility concerns?

Answer

If you believe that you may need any type of special accommodation, please just let us know! Our venue is ADA-compliant and we want to ensure that you have the best experience possible as our guest. Guests can be dropped off at the front door and handicapped parking is close by. In addition, all activities will take place in and around the clubhouse, which also has an elevator centrally located just to the right of the stairs as you enter through the front door. There are bathrooms on both the first and second floors as well.
